University
of Alabama, the University of Texas, University of Oklahoma, and just about every other major college in the country.

The highlight of the session will be a 7-on-7 passing scrimmage between teams representing Florida and Tennessee. Admission to the Citrus Bowl is free for the July 3rd session beginning at 5:00 p.m. For those that cannot make it, the scrimmage will be broadcast live by selected stations of the Gator Radio Network.

Twenty-two former Florida Gators, including Shane Matthews, Travis McGriff and Vernell Brown are scheduled to start for the League's Florida team.

The League's eight charter teams will be located in avid college
football markets such as Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Texas, Michigan, Arkansas, Purdue and N C State. Also, according to Dave Hart, Athletic Director of Florida State, the FSU is strongly considering hosting an AAFL team in 2008.

Fans attending will have a chance to win outstanding prizes including the Grand Prize, a Dodge Ram 1500 Truck; five first prizes, Electrolux ICON Outdoor Kitchens; five second prizes, LG Electronics 50-inch High-Definition televisions plus other prizes, including signed Florida football
memorabilia and All American Football League merchandise.

'This is a great opportunity for both the players trying out for roster positions and fans with a deep passion for the game,- said McGriff, a former Florida wide receiver, 1st Team All SEC selection and Biletnikoff Award finalist who played for the Denver Broncos and was the Arena Football League's 2003 Rookie of the Year. 'The players and everyone involved in the League know the passion for college football is unrivaled in all of sports. It's a dream come true for former Florida players to have the opportunity to play again at the Swamp,- said McGriff.

Prior to the scrimmage, there will be an interactive family fun area for fans to test their passing skills, a trivia contest to test their college football knowledge plus photo opportunities and autograph sessions.

Gates open at 5 PM. The pre game festivities will begin at 6 PM with non-contact passing scrimmage set to kick-off at 7:30 PM followed by the prize drawings at 9 PM and the fireworks display at 9:15 PM.

Of interest to Florida fans, former Florida quarterback and head football coach Doug Dickey, who also served as the athletic director of his alma mater and Tennessee, serves on the League's Board of Directors along with other leading intercollegiate athletics administrators, including former NCAA President Cedric W. Dempsey and former ACC Commissioner, Gene Corrigan.
