Head Coach Andy Kelly Welcome Letter to Fans
I'd like to welcome all of you to our League, our season and our team.
I assure you that's no empty invitation. I've been fortunate enough to be part of some winning teams in my athletic career. The most successful teams I've been associated with always believed in and supported each other.
I welcome you to our team because we need your support. Team Tennessee is coming together nicely. We've selected the ingredients for a winning franchise. We picked 60 players to win on and off the field. They will begin arriving for training camp on March 12, and I'm looking forward to getting them here. Our coaches have won championships from the Southeastern Conference, NCAA, NFL Europe and NFL. Our staff understands and appreciates the passion Tennessee fans have for good football. We play in Neyland Stadium, the finest setting for football in the entire All American Football League®.
But without you, Team Tennessee can't exist. What we're trying to build is no easy task, but worthwhile things rarely come easily. I didn't return to Knoxville because it was going to be easy. I came because building a team in this league that you can be proud of is worth doing.
You can follow news about Team Tennessee on the Internet. League news can be found on the AAFL website, www.aafl.com. Just select the Team Tennessee link and choose “News.” We'll be adding more news as we move closer to our training camp and season. Our April 12 kickoff with Team Michigan will be here before we know it. You can buy tickets right now on the web site www.aafl.com or by calling 877-330-2235.
I want you to know how excited I am to be back in Knoxville. This is a new experience for me, but I've surrounded myself with good people. I have a lot to learn, but I'm looking forward to the challenge. I expect my team to be a part of the community. I expect you to be part of us.
Sincerely,
Andy Kelly
